Ipanema-beach-in-Rio-de-Janeiro-Brazil

Caminhos Language Centre is situated in heart of Ipanema, just four blocks from the famous Ipanema Beach. Ipanema is also famous for its bustling social scene, great restaurants, cafés and shops. Ipanema's metro station, 'General Osório', is only five minutes' walk from the school. Many students head to the beach straight after class and our beach volleyball on Monday evenings is very popular. Tapioca on the Beach

Tapioca on the beach: Have you ever wondered what the white, pancake-like snacks are? We would recommend you try one of Brazil's specialties, tapioca. It resembles a pancake but comes with a sweet or savoury filling of your choice. It can be made in just a few minutes and is an inexpensive treat that can be eaten as a snack or a small meal substitute. Many Brazilians will buy one on their way home from work one night of the week for a quickie dinner solution.
