Arriving at the restaurant

Recepcionista: Boa noite, posso ajudar? (Host: Good evening, how can I help you?)
Raquel: Oi, boa noite! Gostaríamos de uma mesa para 5 pessoas, por favor. (Raquel: Hi, good evening! We would like a table for 5 people, please.)
Recepcionista: Bom, no momento estamos com uma lista de espera. Todas as nossas mesas estão ocupadas. (Host: Well, at the moment we have a waiting list. All our tables are occupied.)
Raquel: Quanto tempo de espera mais ou menos? (Raquel: How long would we be waiting?)
Recepcionista: Uns 30 minutos. (Host: About 30 minutes.)
Raquel: Tudo bem. Vamos esperar! (Raquel: All right. We will wait!)

Ordering drinks

Recepcionista: Senhora Raquel! (Host: Mrs. Raquel!)
Raquel: Oi! (Raquel: Hi!)
Recepcionista: Sua mesa está pronta. Pode entrar. (Host: Your table is ready. You may come in.)

Garçom: Boa noite! Por aqui, por favor. (Waiter: Good evening! Over here, please.)
Raquel: Obrigada! Tá ótimo! (Raquel: Thank you! That’s great!)
Garçom: Eu serei o garçom de vocês. Querem fazer o pedido agora? (Waiter: I’ll be your waiter. Do you want to order now?)
Raquel: Vamos pedir as bebidas por enquanto. Tudo bem? (Raquel: We will order drinks for now. Is that okay?)
Garçom: Ok. O que vão beber? (Waiter: Okay. What would you like to drink?)
Raquel: Eu quero um guaraná zero. (Raquel: I would like a diet guaraná.)
Elza: Eu quero uma coca. (Elza: I would like a coke.)
Garçom: Normal ou zero? (Waiter: Regular or diet?)
Elza: Normal. (Elza: Regular.)
Pablo e Davi: Nós vamos beber cerveja. Por favor, traz uma garrafa bem gelada e dois copos. (Pablo and David: We would like a beer. Please bring us a cold one and two glasses.)
Tatiana: Vou querer um suco de laranja com gelo e sem açúcar, por favor. (Tatiana: I’ll have an orange juice with ice and no sugar, please.)
Garçom: Certo. Licença. (Waiter: Alright. Excuse me.)

Ordering food

Garçom: Aqui estão as bebidas. Gostariam de pedir a comida agora? (Waiter: Here are the drinks. Would you like to order the food now?)
Raquel: Sim! Vamos querer um churrasco misto. Dá para duas pessoas, né? (Raquel: Yes! We would like a ‘churrasco misto’. It’s enough for 2 people, right?)
Garçom: Isso! Serve duas pessoas. (Waiter: Yes! It serves two people.)
Pablo e Davi: Vamos querer um churrasco misto também. (Pablo and David: We would like a ‘churrasco misto’ as well.)
Tatiana: Quero um filé bem passado, com arroz e fritas. (Tatiana: I would like a filet mignon,well-done, with rice and fries.)
Garçom: Algo mais? (Waiter: Anything else?)
Raquel: Não, obrigada. Só isso. (Raquel: No, thank you. That’s all.)
Garçom: Perfeito. (Waiter: Perfect.)

Ordering coffee or dessert

Garçom: Tudo certo? Estão precisando de mais alguma coisa? (Waiter: Is everything okay? Do you need anything else?)
Raquel: Não. Tudo certo. (Rachel: No. Everything is fine.)
Garçom: Aceitam uma sobremesa ou um cafezinho? (Waiter: Would you like coffee or dessert?)
Pablo: Sim, 5 cafezinhos. (Pablo: Yes, 5 espressos.)
Garçom: Ok. (Waiter: Okay.)
Davi: E pode fechar, por favor. (David: And you can bring the bill, please.)

Paying

Garçom: Aqui está a conta. (Waiter: Here’s the bill.)
Davi: 250 reais o total. (David: 250 reais for everything.)
Pablo: Tudo bem. Vamos dividir? (Pablo: Ok. Can we split the bill?)
Todos: Sim! (Everyone: Yes!)
Garçom: Obrigado! Voltem sempre! (Waiter: Thank you! Feel free to come back anytime.)
Todos: Obrigado! (Everyone: Thank you!)
